Sara Pulins
Sara Pulins, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
I understand how challenging it can be to make a career change or to make other changes in your life. Before pursing a career as a psychotherapist, I worked in the health food industry, and as a communications professional and am now in my career of choice as a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). In all my professional interactions, listening to co-workers and understanding how to ease any pain, anxiety or sadness they experience has always interested me. This has led me to volunteer for over 10 years as a peer counsellor in various roles before pursuing formal psychotherapy education.
I know how painful it can be to survive traumatic events, and figure out how to recover and eventually thrive. Sometimes these events or circumstances can affect how we feel about ourselves and think about other people. I believe that no matter what you are facing, having a space and an empathetic individual with whom you can connect is instrumental in your recovery. If you haven’t been feeling like yourself and are ready to start your journey, reach out today.
