Do you accept insurance?

Psychotherapy services are typically covered by your extended health benefits. It may be helpful to check with your insurance provider about your specific employee benefit plan. Services may be covered in full or in part.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards as forms of payment.

Payment can be made via internet e-transfer or major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express).

Do you offer sliding scale options?

Yes. Eligibility for a sliding scale can be discussed in more detail during your consultation.

How often should I see my Therapist?

We recommend starting therapy weekly to enable you and your therapist to build momentum in your relationship and towards your therapy goals. When you or your therapist feel like there is a significant shift in how you are feeling, biweekly therapy might be an appropriate option.

What is the cancellation policy?

We understand that life can sometimes be unpredictable, and appointments may need to be cancelled or rescheduled. Our cancellation policy is 48-hours unless there is an emergency.

What should I look for in a consultation?

It is widely accepted that a good client-therapist relationship is the best predictor of positive therapy outcomes. We have therapists from all kinds of backgrounds so that you can find the best fit for you! After your first few sessions, you shouldbe feeling heard, seen, respected, understood and empowered.
