Does it feel like you are running on empty? Do you often worry about worst-case scenarios? Do you tend to put the needs of others before yours? Perhaps you have a hard time deciphering what your needs are and just do not pay these much attention? Do you swing like a pendulum from working hard to avoidance and procrastination? Do you feel like things are catching up with you? If so, then you are in the right place. I help people regain their inner balance and find clarity, confidence and ease.Together we will explore your thoughts and get to the bottom of self-talk, thoughts, and coping mechanisms that are no longer serving you. By building rapport and trust, you will have my support as you journey into uncomfortable and scary thoughts and feelings, and make sense of these. Together we may find that what is scaring you has passed. Reaching out for therapy can be scary but by going on this journey, you are facing your demons on your terms as opposed to dealing with them when they strike. Proactively doing this work will help you free space in your mind and will ultimately free you and help you live meaningfully and with ease.

Reach out today for a free consult and see if we are a fit!

    Meet Mahnoor

BSc., MACP (Cand.), Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Life can be a rollercoaster, and sometimes it feels like its’ ups and downs never end. In moments of doubt, frustration, and overwhelm, thoughts might race through your mind, questioning your choices or worrying about what’s next. You might be telling yourself that you’re not good enough, that things will never get better, or that everyone else has it all figured out. But guess what? It’s okay not to have all the answers and often we can only access our own answers in the presence of a safe, uninvolved other.

Enter me. I offer a safe space for you to explore in the presence of someone who is rooting for you and in your corner. This makes all the difference when it comes to feeling empowered to explore yourself and your difficulties and having the courage to experience your feelings. As a person of colour, I know how it feels to navigate two cultures and generational differences that can leave you feeling torn and disillusioned, and maybe gaslit when it comes to mental health. Seeking help and prioritizing your wellbeing is a sign of courage, not weakness. Reaching out is the hardest part but you have already made it this far! Let’s work together to figure this out, and build acceptance, self-compassion and confidence.

Areas of Practice: Anxiety, Self-Esteem/Self-Worth, Education, Perfectionism, Career exploration, Young professionals, Students, Teens, Marginalized, Newcomers, South-Asian Community and More

Mahnoor provides sessions in English, Hindi and Urdu.

    Meet Diana

BA, MA (Cand.), Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Are you anxious about the future? Do you often feel on edge or find yourself worried about the worst-case scenario? Do you wish you felt more at ease? Do you wish you were more confident?

Do you often feel like a failure? Would you describe yourself as a perfectionist? Do you feel like you cope with your anxiety by trying to stave off failure? Or do you find yourself procrastinating on important tasks? Would you describe yourself as a people pleaser? Do you often ask yourself what is wrong with you?

Is the above catching up with you? Are you beginning to feel unlike yourself? Are your relationships becoming affected?

I want you to know that you are not your issues. Together we will tease out what is you and what is your way of coping. We will learn what is serving you and what no longer is. Often my clients learn that the challenges they are facing today used to serve them and helped them survive. I want to assure you that I will provide a safe and non-judgemental space where together we will explore the challenges you are experiencing. If you want to learn how your story and experiences actually make sense and to start feeling more at peace with yourself, reach out today!
