Do you accept insurance?
Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.
I’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
- Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
- Does my plan cover Registered Psychotherapists? How about Registered Psychotherapists (Qualifying)?
- What are the details of my coverage? How much am I covered for?
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards as forms of payment.
How much will therapy cost?
A 50-minute individual psychotherapy session is $135 plus HST
A 50-minute couples therapy session is $160 plus HST
What if I cannot afford this?
Book a session with one of our Counselling Interns completing the final portion of their Masters degree for the reduced price of $80
How frequent should sessions be?
In the beginning of therapy, weekly sessions are recommended to build momentum and to allow for a therapeutic relationship to develop between you and your therapist, as the therapeutic relationship has been shown to determine outcomes of therapy! Also, typically clients present to therapy when things are most severe so more frequent sessions are warranted. Eventually, we will reduce the frequency until you feel confident to end therapy.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 48 hours beforehand.
